Chapter 267-19 PUBLIC SCHOOL CLEAN ALTERNATIVE FUEL BUS PROJECT
The purpose of the Public School Clean Alternative Fuel Bus Project is to implement and showcase energy efficient measures that can be used by systems throughout the state.

Funded through the U.S. Department of Energy.
To implement and feature energy conservation measures within public school systems.
Public School Systems are eligible to apply for the grant to introduce the use of clean alternative fuels into their bus fleets. Priority will be given to applicants with a demonstrated commitment to the use of clean alternative fuels. Four grants in the amount of $50,000 will be made.
Georgia public school systems.
Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to clean alternative fuels, and introduce a school bus operating on a clean alternative fuel into the bus fleet.
Proposals must be received between December 15, 1999 and May 15, 2000. Facsimile copies will not be accepted or considered for funding. Two copies of the application should be mailed to:
