Chapter 267-18 ELECTRIC VEHICLE CURRICULUM PROGRAM
Rule 267-18-.01 Purpose
The purpose of the Program is to educate vocational and technical students about electric vehicles.
Rule 267-18-.02 The Name of the Grant Program
Electric Vehicle Curriculum Program.
Rule 267-18-.03 The Citation to Statutory Basis for the Grant Program in the Official Code of Georgia Annotated or Other General Law of the State of Georgia
Funded from a combination of Stripper Well Settlement Agreement funds and a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy.
Rule 267-18-.04 The General Scope and Purpose of the Grant Program
To facilitate the development of curriculum materials to educate vocational and technical students about electric vehicles.
Rule 267-18-.05 General Terms and Conditions of the Grant
The program will partially fund the development of curriculum materials to introduce vocational and technical students to electric vehicles, and will serve as a catalyst for further development of programs within established automotive programs.
Rule 267-18-.06 Eligible Recipients of the Grant
Georgia public entities.
Rule 267-18-.07 The Criteria for the Award of the Grant
Local governments and authorities must have demonstrated commitment to use automotive education programs, experience and involvement in such.
Rule 267-18-.08 Directions and Deadlines for Applying for Such Grant
Applications must be received between May 1 and May 31, 1999. Facsimile copies will not be accepted or considered for funding.
